Proverbs 18:15 – The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out.

When we seek God, what are we looking for?

I read the Bible to find out what God has said. I look to Him for my answers – and to help me use the right questions. I’m looking for God’s guidance.

The great thing about God is: you don’t get His guidance without also learning something about Him. He wants to reveal Himself to us. He wants us to get to know Him, but He has to go slowly because of our limited understanding.

Seeking God is really finding that place inside you where God resides. Sit down, get comfortable, and wait on Him. Talk to Him – and listen. Find out who He is.

Never forget He is a real person who wants to be with you.
